This afternoon we had lunch at the Blue Willow Inn-- sinful Southern fare. It's the type of place that chicken and dumplings is considered soup. Tommy was introduced to his first candied yam. Based on his response, I think his life began at that moment. As if everything leading up to that yam was as boring and uneventful as still being in the womb. They were good candied yams.
